the mind and body grow
and change-like mutations

A gradual change, perhaps,
But don’t we crave things
more with time?
Outgrow may be a
better word for the phasing out of nostalgia.
Never knowing exactly
what we once knew,
but some fuzzy photos.
In fact, what we remember never
truly existed. So really,
we couldn’t return to
Our origins if we tried.
